Scholarships

Merit Scholarships are awarded by Panjab University, Chandigarh to the meritorious students from affiliated colleges on securing university positions time to time.

32 college students made their mark by receiving scholarship around four lakh five thousand rupees under various schemes for their exemplary achievements.

  • Senior Citizens Conclave awards a sum of Rs. 3,000/- as scholarship for one academic year to the students of first year of BA / B.Sc. / B.Com who have secured minimum 60% marks in class 10+2 after the screening of the candidates. The income of parents should not exceed Rs.3,00,000/- per annum. The students need to score minimum 60% marks in each class to keep availing the benefits of scholarships.
  • Mittal-Pandey Scholarship (For Girls-UG) is awarded by Nehru Sidhant Kendra Trust on the basis of Merit, to students of BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BCA 1st year who have secured more than 70% marks in 10+2 class   and whose family income does not exceed Rs.5,00,000/- per annum. A sum of Rs.15,000/- is given to the   students of BA/B.Sc./B.Com and sum of Rs.20,000/- is given to the students of BBA / BCA as scholarship every year. For the scholarship to continue, the student has to obtain more than 60% marks  in each class.
  • Mittal-Pandey Scholarship (For Girls-PG) is awarded by Nehru Sidhant Kendra Trust on the basis of Merit, to students of MA/M.Com/PG Diploma 1st year who have secured more than 70% marks in graduation and whose family income does not exceed Rs. 5 Lac per annum. A sum of Rs.20,000/- is given every year as       scholarship to pay the fees. For the scholarship to continue, the student has to obtain more than 60% marks in each class.
  • Scholarship for Scheduled Castes/Tribes is awarded to students from schedules caste/scheduled tribes securing at least 40% marks in lower examination and their family income should not exceed Rs.2.5 Lac per

National Scholarship for Minorities is available for deserving candidates.
