The programme was organised by the Department of Sociology <strong>on the theme \u201cEquality in Action: Empowering Women, Transforming Society<\/strong>.\u201d<br \/>The programme was held under the able guidance and encouragement of our respected Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal, whose constant support inspires the college to undertake such meaningful initiatives.<br \/>The valuable guidance and support of Principal, Dr. Rakhi Malhotra, also contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.<\/p><p>The celebration aimed to create awareness about gender equality, women\u2019s rights, equal opportunities and empowerment. Various activities including a panel discussion, student presentations, poster\/slogan competition, group discussion, documentary presentation and pledge were organised. The enthusiastic participation of students made the programme meaningful and thought-provoking.<\/p><p><strong>* Slogan writing competition<\/strong><br \/>1st prize &#8211; khushboo (MA-1
