Guru Nanak Girls College Model Town, Ludhiana celebrated Sri Guru Granth Sahib’s Prakash Utsav, on 27th August 2026, with great zeal and enthusiasm. On this auspicious day, an Essay Writing competition on various aspects of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was organized. This event was held under the able guidance and encouragement of respected Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal, Director, GNGC, GNCH & GNIFD whose constant support and vision inspired the college to organise such events which impart moral values among students. The valuable guidance and support of the College Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Rakhi Malhotra also contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the college activities. Ekjot Kaur of MA -Ist year Punjabi got the coveted First prize whereas Yashdeep Kaur of BA 1st year and Simranjeet Kaur of BA 2nd year clinched the Second prize each and Anureet Kaur of BA 1 got hold of the Third prize in the said contest. Essay Writing Competition concluded with the encouragement and felicitation of the prize winners, appreciating their creativity, confidence, and zeal. The winners were warmly congratulated for their commendable performance and for contributing to the success and memorable spirit of this celebration of divnity.
