Annual Old Student Meet of the Alumni Association of Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, Ludhiana was held on 07^th April, 2026. S. Gurbir Singh, President Guru Nanak Education Trust was the Chief Guest on the occasion. S. Gurbir Singh applauded the efforts put in by Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal (Director), Dr. (Mrs.) Rakhi Malhotra, Principal and faculty for converting the vulnerable girl students into cosmopolitan women who are not only modern but are also connected to their roots. He went on to say that all should join hands together in extending education to women, so that they can lead an empowered and independent life. Dr. S.S. Mahal, Trustee, Guru Nanak Education Trust graced the occasion. The function served as a platform for the old students to rejuvenate their playful moments spent in the college. The occasion was packed with dances, songs and skits. Director of the Institution, Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal presented the Annual Alumni report. She exhorted the members to provide further fillip and vigor to alumni activities. 78 Alumni who have made commendable achievements in various fields were honoured. The function was attended by 725 old students of the college. The students relived the cherished memories of the days and years spent together in the college. Moments of nostalgia, excitement and warmth were witnessed.
